Kelly Education, an established presence inside schools across the United States, will closely partner with parents and teachers to ensure tutoring meets individual student's needs. Tutoring solutions are designed with insights based on its work with school districts over the past 20 years. Upon completing a needs assessment, the education team develops a plan to show how an effective tutoring program should be structured.
This database includes an initial set of organizations that offer tutoring, technology platforms or academic interventions along with relevant information if available. This is not meant to be an inclusive list, but a starting point. We welcome additional organizations to join the database by completing this form.

This database is intended for Districts, States or nonprofits to identify potential tutoring partners, for potential tutors to identify potential employers and for tutoring organizations to have a clearer understanding of the landscape and to identify interventions that might be useful to their programs, if needed.

Language for Literacy is a program designed to deliver evidence-based literacy and language intervention through the lens of speech-language pathology and the science of reading. Tutoring is differentiated and tailored to specific student needs and assessment results. Tutoring and curriculum development is implemented by a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor, licensed RAVE-O provider, and American Speech-Language and Hearing Association member. The following components of reading and writing are targeted: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, language comprehension, fluency, syntax, letter formation, encoding, written output, and executive functioning.
We offer one-on-one in-home tutoring addressing the actual needs of the student: systematic phonics, writing assistance, grammar, math, and homework help in most subjects.
Littera partners with schools and districts to design, deliver, monitor, and adjust data-driven high-impact tutoring programs that take their assessment data, schedules, and specific student populations into account. Littera dramatically simplifies the delivery of high-impact tutoring, providing schools and districts with experienced virtual tutors, a full-service Littera program management team, and Littera’s comprehensive online Tutoring Management System.
MTT offers high-impact, research based, one-on-one tutoring both in person and virtually. In addition to working with individual families, MTT's certified teacher-tutors have a proven success record of working with small groups of students in both public and charter schools (K-12) in the Baltimore and DC areas in order to increase academic performance and engagement in ELA and Mathematics.
Masteryhour.org is a free, online tutoring program for K12 students, led by volunteers from colleges and universities, currently offered in English and Spanish. We use a mastery-based approach to ensure students advance at their own rate. All our tutors are trained in innovative teaching techniques including inquiry-based learning. anti-bias education, child-centered communication differentiating learning and cultivating a growth mindset. Volunteer professors and math teachers come to observe tutoring sessions and offer feedback and support to the student tutor volunteers. All the tutoring happens in the Mastery Hour zoom room. Students can drop in whenever they need tutoring and are paired with tutors in breakout rooms - or can stay in the main room for study hall (occasionally asking a question as needed). While we're starting with math offered twice a day in our zoom room, we hope to add more subjects and hours until Masteryhour.org is available 24 hours a day for free to any child who needs it.

The New Jersey Tutoring Corps provides tutoring services in math and literacy to scholars in grades PreK-8 throughout the state of New Jersey. We offer three cycles of tutoring: embedded school-day, after school, and summer, with all cycles face-to-face. Our partners are schools, districts, and community-based organizations. We follow the tenets of high-impact tutoring detailed in the Annenberg Institute's recommendations for high-dosage tutoring, with tutor-to-scholar ratios of 1:1 up to1:3, sessions lasting from 30-60 minutes, and occurring two to three times weekly.

NSync Accelerated Learning Solutions offers in-school tutoring, after school tutoring, and summer school tutoring to provide the support students need to catch up on their learning that was interrupted due to the COVID 19 Pandemic. We employ highly qualified tutors who work closely with classroom teachers to customize targeted learning that addresses a student’s immediate learning needs, provides additional instructional time by aligning the tutoring activities to current classroom activities, offers more engagement, rapid feedback, and fewer distractions in one-on-one and small group environments, creates meaningful mentor relationships between tutors and students. OpenLiteracy partners with school districts, non-profit organizations, and families across the United States to provide 1:1 tutoring for students in grades K-6. OpenLiteracy Tutoring can be implemented during the school day, for instance, during an intervention block or independent reading time, as well as before or after school. Start Making a Reader Today® (SMART®) is a volunteer program widely implemented in Oregon for students in grades preK-3 who are at risk of reading failure. The program is designed to be a low-cost, easy-to-implement intervention. Volunteer readers go into schools where at least 40% of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and read one-on-one with students twice a week for half an hour. Typically, one volunteer works with two children on four types of activities: reading to the child, reading with the child, re-reading with the child, and asking the child questions about what has been read. The program also gives each student two new books a month to encourage families to read together.
The Art of Learning is an online tutoring and test prep company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. Tier One Learning Solutions was launched in Fall 2020 out of a sincere passion and need to educate children with integrity by providing an intervention-based tutorial service that goes beyond homework assistance. The idea was brought upon by frustrations and obstacles that my husband and I, both Certified Educators, encountered while teaching in various school districts in Texas.School districts classify students with academic deficits as Tier II and Tier III students performing below grade level in core subjects and school-wide assessments given at various times throughout the school year. Tier II and Tier III students are recommended for intervention-based tutorials during school hours but often do not receive these services consistently throughout the school year. Being former classroom teachers, we understand first-hand the need to provide intervention-based tutoring in schools; however, schools often do not have adequate staffing, the proper curriculum and additional educational materials to provide intervention-based tutoring. We have now made it our mission that every child will be a “Tier One Learner” by providing intervention-based tutoring in Reading and Math.
