About the Position

Reporting to the Director, the Director of Quality and Improvement will be accountable for all aspects of the Accelerator’s tool development and technical assistance including:

  • Actively participate in the Accelerator’s Leadership Team
  • Develop and execute the Accelerator’s tool development and technical assistance strategy, goals and objectives and drive the annual operating plan
  • Develop and manage a Practitioner Community of Practice and Tutoring Educator Advisory Group to inform the Accelerator’s work
  • Lead the development of a Tutoring Quality Improvement System including developing a set of accepted standards for high-impact tutoring and additional tools as needed in the field
  • Provide and oversee light-touch technical assistance at the SEA and LEA level for tutoring selection and implementation
  • Hire, onboard, and co-develop appropriate goals for the Quality and Improvement Manager and Program Associate
  • Actively promote a diverse and inclusive environment through modeling, practices and operational systems

About the Position

Reporting to the Director, the Director of Engagement and Development will be accountable for the Accelerator’s engagement, communications and fundraising efforts including:

  • Actively participating in the Accelerator’s Leadership Team
  • Developing and executing the Accelerator’s engagement and funds development strategy, goals and objectives and driving the annual operating plan
  • Hiring, onboarding, and co-developing appropriate goals for the Engagement and Development Program Associate
  • Actively promoting a diverse and inclusive environment through modeling, practices and operational systems

About the Position

Reporting to the Director, the Director of Research and Innovation will be accountable for all aspects of the Accelerator’s research efforts including:

  • Position the Accelerator as a leading expert in research on high-impact tutoring
  • Develop the Accelerator’s strategic research strategy, goals and objectives and drive the annual research plan
  • Develop and coordinate a common research agenda and dissemination plan for the field of high-impact tutoring
  • Lead all aspects of the Accelerator’s research process
  • Hire, onboard, and co-develop appropriate goals for the Research and Innovation Program Associate and any additional staffing as needed including undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral research associates
  • Actively promote a diverse and inclusive environment through modeling, practices and operational systems
