This database is intended for Districts, States or nonprofits to identify potential tutoring partners, for potential tutors to identify potential employers and for tutoring organizations to have a clearer understanding of the landscape and to identify interventions that might be useful to their programs, if needed.

We provide one-to-one tutoring for adult education and high school equivalency preparation (GED/TASC/HiSET) at two Cleveland-area locations, as well as nationally in our Virtual Classroom, conducted through Zoom. Our tutors are all volunteers. Unlike other programs, tutors may work with a different student each day. Because our adult learners did not succeed in more traditional classroom settings, our program offers the ultimate flexibility.
Since 2020, Sharity Tutoring Inc. has been committed to supporting our community by providing free tutoring services to as many children as possible. In order to maximize the number of students Sharity's tutors are able to work with, tutors have developed flexible schedules to accommodate students on weekdays as well as weekends.
Simplifi EDU is a private online tutoring company working with both private clients and school districts utilizing state-awarded grants for after-school academic tutoring programs. Our team of tutors is well equipped to assist students in grades 6th-12th in Math, Science, and English. Simplifi EDU will develop a tutoring program that caters to each district's specific needs, including:
- A partnership dedicated to building quality tutor-student-parent relationships.
- A tutor pairing process that works to match students with tutors based on their academic needs, weekly availability, personality, and learning style.

SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) is a research-based foundational skills program proven to help both new and struggling readers in grades K-12 build skills and confidence for fluent, independent reading.
SiSTEM offers online or in-person tutoring sessions in a group or privately. Students age 4 and up can get academic help in science, math, english and foreign language subjects. Our online tutoring sessions are accessible through your smartphone, tablet, or computer right here on our website.
SmartStart provides one-on-one and small-group tutoring services in all levels of mathematics and ELA. SmartStart has provided tutoring services for over 35,000 students, attending hundreds of schools, in over 100 districts. Over 95% of SmartStart’s students come from ethnic/racial minorities. Nearly 25% of SmartStart’s students are English Language Learners, and nearly 15% of our students are designated as having special needs.
SmartStart is flexible and accommodating to school, district, and student needs, and can provide tutoring 7-days per week, in-person or virtually, in school or out, and between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm, year-round. SmartStart provides a diverse group of tutors, who work collaboratively to support students. We aim to bridge the gap in education caused by underlying socioeconomic issues. We offer group sessions and one-to-one classes on a weekly basis and an on-demand Q&A service for all school topics.
We have supported over 100 students from four continents on SAT, helping them improve their SAT scores significantly in addition to schoolwork help. Talent Pro Tutor offers a variety of tutoring services. We offer 1:1 tutoring as well as pod tutoring. With school districts, we also offer larger group HIT tutoring or remedial learning. All of our programs are personalized to what the individual student or school district needs.
In order to ensure that our students are receiving the best possible academic support, students take a variety of assessments. Before beginning tutoring services, students will take a diagnostic assessment so that we have an understanding of what areas the student has mastered and what areas the student needs to review. Our assessments are coded and aligned to Common Core Standards and specific state standards. As students begin tutoring with their assigned educator, they will frequently be presented with formative assessments to track their progress and understanding. At the end of each unit or topic, students will be presented with a summative assessment to ensure that the target areas have been mastered. These assessments may come in a variety of forms, such as projects, presentations, short quizzes, etc. All progress and data is tracked through our learning platform for both educators, parents, and administrators to keep track of. If we see that a student is not making the necessary progress, then we will reevaluate the case and create a new learning plan.
Founded in 2011 and home-grown in Philly, TEACH offers exceptional tutoring and educational programming K-College. TEACH’s tutoring approach starts with building strong relationships to promote both academic and social-emotional development through creative, engaging lessons. In a typical academic year, we serve upward of 640 students through classes and 1-on-1 tutoring, 75 educators through teacher professional development, and coordinate partnership programs with 10-15 local schools, charter networks, or nonprofits. The University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning (KUCRL) is a multidisciplinary research team whose overarching goal is to create solutions to educational challenges.
