We provide a tutoring program for grades K-3, using recorded reading lessons that engage the learner in the workbook following the directions of the teacher to follow the presentation. There are 350+ video lessons organized in an LMS (Learning Management System). An onsite reading coach or tutor/mentor then reviews the workbook for completion and checks the student's understanding confidence in reading the exercises in the lesson. The program facilitates the student moving at their own pace, lessons are available 24-7, tutoring sessions are designed to review several completed lessons with the student.
We work with schools and educational organizations to provide tutoring content in an after school environment and in summer reading programs. We have training for tutor/mentors and can be in person to help launch a reading program.

Learning Bridge was created to help close the educational gap between children in foster care and their peers by providing one-on-one tutoring for kids who are struggling in school. The program began in August 2020. In February 2021 the nonprofit Learning Bridge that was created to sustain and grow the program. Our target demographic is youth in foster care in Kindergarten to 12th grade in Travis, Hays and Williamson Counties. In response to COVID-19 school closures, Learning Lodge provides free virtual tutoring by connecting college volunteers with elementary and middle school students.
In partnership with the School District of Palm Beach County, volunteers are recruited and trained to provide tutoring in reading comprehension in selected 1st and 2nd grade classrooms within the School District. The goal is to have each student 50% closer to grade level at the end of the year than when they began the year. The 30 minute sessions have been designed by School District staff to supplement reading taught in the classroom.

The New Jersey Tutoring Corps provides tutoring services in math and literacy to scholars in grades PreK-8 throughout the state of New Jersey. We offer three cycles of tutoring: embedded school-day, after school, and summer, with all cycles face-to-face. Our partners are schools, districts, and community-based organizations. We follow the tenets of high-impact tutoring detailed in the Annenberg Institute's recommendations for high-dosage tutoring, with tutor-to-scholar ratios of 1:1 up to1:3, sessions lasting from 30-60 minutes, and occurring two to three times weekly.
Peer Power recruits and trains high-performing college students, called Success Coaches, to tutor in public classrooms and mentor high school students to encourage active learning, valuing education, and being personally accountable for their futures.

Start Making a Reader Today® (SMART®) is a volunteer program widely implemented in Oregon for students in grades preK-3 who are at risk of reading failure. The program is designed to be a low-cost, easy-to-implement intervention. Volunteer readers go into schools where at least 40% of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and read one-on-one with students twice a week for half an hour. Typically, one volunteer works with two children on four types of activities: reading to the child, reading with the child, re-reading with the child, and asking the child questions about what has been read. The program also gives each student two new books a month to encourage families to read together.
