Sarah Novicoff

Sarah Novicoff is a PhD student in Educational Policy at Stanford's Graduate School of Education. In her doctoral education, she is interested in supporting the academic development of vulnerable subgroups of K-12 students (e.g., low-income students, English Language Learners, students with disabilities, students in foster care) with a focus on early literacy. Previously, Sarah was a 6th grade Social Studies teacher in South Los Angeles and worked as a Research Assistant for the Brown University Department of Education and at the Brookings Institute Center on Education Policy. Sarah holds a B.A. in History with Honors from Brown University where she graduated magna cum laude.
