Melissa is a Graduate Research Assistant with the National Student Support Accelerator. She is interested in studying educational policies that support disadvantaged students at the PK-12 and postsecondary levels, with a particular focus on special education. Melissa holds a BS in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics from the University of South Florida and an MA in Economics from the University of South Carolina. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Economics at Texas A&M University.
