Lauren Ziegler

Lauren Ziegler is the Director of Tools and Engagement at the National Student Support Accelerator. She brings a strong commitment to advancing equitable social change through roles she has held in the education and policy sectors.

Lauren also serves as an Education Advisor to HundrED, a Finnish organization dedicated to transforming K-12 education through innovation. Previously, at the Brookings Institution, she advanced national and global research on family and community engagement and education systems change. As a Broad Resident in Urban Education, Lauren led strategic initiatives for Mastery Charter Schools. She has also served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, and she began her career as an English teacher in France.

Lauren holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. She resides in San Jose, CA with her husband, and her favorite hobby is reading.
