Mission

EduTutorVA provides Virginia students -- at no cost to schools or families -- virtual small-group tutoring by trained college students and alumni. The students receive targeted, consistent support in the core academic areas of reading and math, and our diverse tutors receive a positive introduction to the teaching profession.

Program Description

EduTutorVA program description includes:

  • Virtual

  • 40-60 hours/ school year
  • Groups of 2-3 students with the same tutor all year
  • College tutors from Virginia’s colleges & universities
  • Tutors are paid a competitive honorarium for their time, curriculum, paid workshops, and ongoing support from a tutor couch
