Emanuele Bardelli is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. His research interests include teacher professional development, teacher learning, and instructional practices. His recent work studied how teaching supports to early career teachers relate to their instructional effectiveness growth and employment decisions. Originally from Italy, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, and a Master of Arts in Education and a teaching credential from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Doctorate in Educational Studies at the University of Michigan. Prior to his doctorate, he worked as an instructional coach and middle and high school mathematics teacher in Los Angeles and Lodi, California for five years.
